The film is based on the life of Razia Sultan (1205–1240), the only female Sultan of Delhi (1236–1240) and her speculated love affair with the Abyssinian slave, Jamal-ud-Din Yakut. Razia Sultan is 1983 Urdu film, written and directed by Kamal Amrohi, and starring Hema Malini, Parveen Babi and Dharmendra in lead roles. The film's music was provided by Khayyam, with lyrics by Jan Nisar Akhtar and two songs by Nida Fazli who walked into the project when Akhtar died. Some songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar, including classics like, "Aye Dil-e Nadaan".

Things get really complicated when Prem is killed, and Anuradha is arrested by the police for killing him.

Science College Principal Tripathi is criticized by the college professors, as his younger brother Ajay failed the exam twice and fell behind by two years. Together they must try to set his life right, so that he can fulfill the promise he made to his brother.

When Inspector Yadav (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) shoots down a criminal couple in the line of duty, his heart goes out to their orphaned baby son Krishna. Guilt-ridden Raju thinks that he has gotten his brother back, and tries to make amends by hiring Shankar, not knowing that Shankar is a wanted criminal, and is looking for an escape route from the authorities.

Bombay-based Anil Agarwal lives a very wealthy lifestyle, mostly from wealth, estate, and business inherited from his grandfather, along with his wife, Anju, and a school-going son named Jimmy. One day while at the beach a stranger named Vijay Sohni, rescues Jimmy from drowning, refuses to accept any compensation, but is invited to live in the palatial house of the Agarwals indefinitely, which he accepts. Anil's garage owner friend, Daver, cautions him against Vijay, as he has been seen making advances to Daver's wife, Suman. Anil decides to pay close attention to Vijay, and does find him getting closer and closer to Anju. He decides to ask Vijay to leave, and even gives him some money, when Daver bursts in accusing Vijay of having an affair with Suman, an argument ensues, which regresses into fisticuffs, Anil hits Vijay on his head which leads to his death. Daver disposes of the body, and both decide not to tell anyone about Vijay's disappearance...

Kindly Dr. Gupta (Ashok Kumar) is preparing to retire, and hopes to marry his daughter Jyoti (Zarina Wahab) to his associate Dr. Anand (Parikshit Sahani). Mukesh has his eyes set on the good life, but unknown to Jyoti he is already married to Geeta (Sarika), whom he abandoned with a child when he found out she was Anpadh (illiterate). Dr. Gupta has an accident one night, injuring a woman named Geeta and brings her home to recuperate. He teaches her how to mingle with high society, dress and eat properly, and ensures the education of her son. In return for his decency and compassion, Jyoti prepares to marry Dr. Gupta. When her father arrives for the festivities, he recognizes Mukesh.

When Sunita, a middle-class girl, marries Prem, a rich man, she is ill-treated and not respected, as her father is unable to pay dowry. She must now find a way to regain her self-respect in the house.

Quest of Asha and her mother Laxmi to get justice in a corrupt society

Satyaprakash is an honest security officer who works at the docks in a small town in India, and lives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vishambernath; wife, Janki, a blind daughter, Munni; and an unmarried sister, Juhi. He hopes to make enough money to get Munni's vision back and ensure that Juhi gets married and the rest of the family are looked after well. Before that could happen, he is killed. Rajoo (Naseeruddin Shah) is an honest, naive, villager with a heart of gold. He assists her to her feet, and she tells him that she is blind, lives in a small tenement with a neighbourly woman everyone calls Maushi (Leela Mishra), and sell flowers for a living. Rajoo takes it upon himself to make arrangements to ensure that Sunayana can see again. He meets with all kinds of people in this process, namely a wealthy suicidal drunk, Heeramohan (Pinchoo Kapoor); Circus owner (Mukri); Lion-tamer, Shamsher (Rajendra Nath); Prisoner Jaggoo (Jagdeep); Prisoner #204 (Viju Khote). He also meets with Dr. Indrajeet (Vijayendra Ghatge) and arranges to pay him a sum of Rs.2000/- for Sunayana's cure. Dr. Indrajeet lives with his mom (Sulochana), and sister, beautiful Sushma (Gayetri).

Dinesh and Maneesha fall in love and, soon after, get married. However, things get complicated for the newly-wed couple as Poonam, Dinesh's colleague files an attempted rape case against him.

Rajoo Dada is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language film directed by D S Azad, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Vijayendra Ghatge, Kajal Kiran and Neeta Metha. Even though the film was censored in 1990, it had a theatrical release only in 1992.

Kabhi To Milenge is an Indian television series that aired on Zee TV based on the story of a woman who has been wrongly convicted for the murder of her own husband. The series premiered on July 2, 2001, and aired every Monday to Friday at 10pm IST. It starred known Bollywood film actress Rati Agnihotri in the main lead and was directed by known Bollywood film director Anant Mahadevan who also worked in the series.
