Rajappa (Kathick) is a young man who earns his livelihood by beating up people for a fee. But he realises his folly when his mother herself becomes a victim of his doings. Rajappa promises to his dying mother that he will never indulge in violence again. He moves to a village with the intention of leading a quiet life; but realises that the village is a furnace of terror. The villagers are terrorised and opressed by a gangster Malaichami (Radharavi). But honouring his promise to his mother, Rajappa remains silent. Duraisingam (Jai Shankar) who has been a victim of Malaichami's cruel deeds, requests Rajappa to deal with the gangster. But Rajappa refuses to commit himself. A helpless Duraisingam also gives up on him. But the attrocities of Malaichami grow wilder and uglier with every passing day. Rajappa is saddened by the plight of the villagers. He thinks of a way to deal with this terror without breaking his promise. Will he succeed?

The film, produced by G. N. Velumani, had musical score by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy and was released on 28 September 1962.

Baskar and Vasanthi are college-mates. A naughty girl creates misunderstanding between them, and an enraged Vasanthi complains to the college dean, who immediately dismisses Baskar. Now left homeless, Baskar however manages to get employed at a tea company, and gets to stay with his close friend Sampath. Vasanthi approaches Baskar and apologises for her cruel act. Baskar forgives her, and they both fall in love. Vasanthi lives with her mother and her elder sister Geetha who is unmarried. Baskar rents the vacant portion of their house. Over time, Vasanthi passes her exams and gets employed.

Vanjikkottai Valiban is a 1958 Indian Tamil-language romance film written by Gemini Studios story department consisting of K. J. Mahadevan, C. Srinivasan and Kothamangalam Subbu while the film was directed and produced by S. S. Vasan. It stars Gemini Ganesan and Vyjayanthimala in lead with Padmini, P.S. Veerappa, T. K. Shanmugam, Pasupuleti Kannamba, Vijayakumari, K. A. Thangavelu and M. S. Sundari Bai as the ensemble cast of the film.

'Maruthanaatu Ilavarasi' is a well-woven story about a king (Veerappa) with two wives (one played by Saraswathi and the other does not appear in the movie!) and an evil-minded Minister (Chakrapani) whose sister is the younger queen. The two become pregnant and the evil genius persuades the king to believe that the senior queen poisoned the junior queen out of sheer jealousy; the king believes but takes no action. The frustrated Minister tries to eliminate the pregnant queen, but she is saved by a courtier whom the Minister kills. The pregnant queen escapes many trials and gives birth to a son (MGR). He grows up and meets a young woman (Janaki) and her friend (Nagaratnam) and falls in love, unaware that she is a princess. Their love grows, but when he comes to know that she is a princess, he distances himself from her. After many trials, the two come together and live happily.

Vellaiya is falsely accused of murder. On the other hand, Rani, a rich girl, struggles after the sudden demise of her father.

Vivasaayi

Aranmanai Kili is a 1993 Tamil film directed by Rajkiran. The film stars Rajkira, Ahana, Vadivelu and Gayathri in lead roles.

The plot revolves around the dark complexioned and uneducated girl and how she convinces everyone that more than appearance and education, it is the character which is important for a woman.

Gopal is sentenced to the death penalty for killing his wife Gayathri (Vineetha). His last wish is meeting the feminist writer Tamilarasi (Nadhiya). He tells his past. Gopal was from a middle-class family and lived with his mother Sharadha (Vijayakumari) and his mentally ill sister (Vinodhini). He fell in love with, a rich city girl, Gayathri and he got married with her. Gayathri had often quarrels with Gopal because he was not rich. Finally, Gayathri removed her thaali and applied for the divorce. Heartbroken, Sharadha died of a heart attack. Gopal proceeded for his mother's cremation. Angry, he ran with a stick in fire and he discovered Gayathri in fire at her house.Tamilarasi decides at any price to save Gopal before his death.

Raghu, an atheist archaeologist, and his father goes to an isolated village for research, his father disappears mysteriously and Raghu finds out a strange prophecy : God will come to earth on Purnima day at the Nagakali Amman temple and the people who will submerge completely under the waterfall near the temple will be cured of any disease. His colleague Pathma informs her blind Journalist friend Divya and the news reaches the public. Pathma is in love with Naveen, in the final stages of cancer. Soon, an atheist terrorist group, led by Saravanan, try to destroy the temple. Saravanan's sister and brother-in-law were brutally killed by the temple's donor. Police officer Hari, Divya's brother, is charged with eradicating the terrorist group. Pathma believes in this prophecy, gets married to Naveen and takes him to the temple. Divya compels Hari to come with him to restore her sight and he agrees. A race against the clock starts.

An honest police constable has a son (R. Muthuraman) and a daughter (C. R. Vijayakumari). Balaji, son of a rich affluent person is a friend of Muthuraman who often visit his house.
