The movie describes the last remaining years of the great Azerbaijani poet, Huseyn Javid who was the victim of 1937-1938 USSR repression.
Habil is a simple workshop worker. One day, his neighbor, lawyer Rustam, sets a trap for him and Habil is arrested. However, justice finds its place. The slander that is thrown finds its owner.
Habil is a simple man. He works at the Ministry of Taxes. But after the murder of his friend Rok, his life changes completely. He promises to finish the research that his friend couldn’t. But this path he has chosen is very dangerous and cruel.
