'The Ruling' is a short 25 minutes film touching the themes of perception and age. Three stories are told: It follows an aging judge, Galindez, throughout a court hearing that turns very personal; the story of the incident behind the hearing and its accused, and the remembrance of the long lost days, when Galindez was still a young aspiring law student.
A simple man, silly but good-hearted, is mistaken as the new manager of a big and important bank. His life begins to change and he finds himself surrounded by power, luxury, compliments, beautiful women... and troubles with the police.
