When Shi You is bound to a system that rewards her for tormenting the male lead, she's supposed to play the villainess. Then she discovers that Pei Yan is also a seasoned novel transmigrator, and he's more than happy to turn the whole setup into a money-making scheme. He plays the victim, she collects the rewards, and they split every payout fifty-fifty.
From an outrageous shoe-licking scene at a banquet to the trouble stirred up by his fiancée Shi Wei, the pair turn every supposedly cruel encounter into an elaborate performance. Forget tragic romance: these two would rather outsmart the system and get rich together.
