A 13 year old girl who lives with her widowed mother in a town in Korea. Somewhat withdrawn and living in dreams, her main dream is that her real mother is a famous pop singer. Soo-ah falls in with a delinquent schoolgirl, and after a tense argument with her mother, blurts out that she is not her real mother. She runs away on a train to Seoul to see her "real mother" at a concert and be with her.

Young married couple Yoon-hee and Jung-hyun go on a road trip, and along the way they pick up a lone drifter, M. M turns out to be a violent and sadistic psychopath who terrorises the couple at every turn. After capturing Jung-hyun, Em gives him a choice: submit to torture or allow Em to kill Yoon-hee.

When the police raid the compound of a religious cult, they discover that almost all of the members have committed suicide. The only survivor, laying on an altar in the middle of the room, is a very pregnant woman who goes into labor as the raid begins. The woman dies in the hospital, but her child survives. 20 years later, strange things are starting to happen around the child, now a grown woman. A group of religious warriors from a mix of faiths join together to try and protect her from whatever supernatural horrors are seeking her out.

Divided into four sections, it depicts the break-up of her relationship with her boyfriend, her problems with her old-fashioned family, her attempts to deal with her disease through her art and, finally, her desire to fly an airplane before she loses her sight entirely.

In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Korean Film Academy, 20 of the academy's former students (who are respected director's today) were invited to shoot an omnibus movie consisting of 20 short films. Overall this work was very well received by the critiques at the 17th Tokyo International Film Festival. The film spurred the Korean public to demand the truth behind the incident, and their government eventually opened previously classified files on the massacre.

The City Hall is a 2009 South Korean television series starring Kim Sun-ah and Cha Seung-won. It aired on SBS from April 29 to July 2, 2009 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes. Written by Kim Eun-sook and directed by Shin Woo-chul, the story revolves around a low-ranking government clerk who becomes the youngest mayor of the fictional Inju City, and her romance with an ambitious and cynical deputy mayor. The drama series also marked movie star Cha Seung-won's return to the small screen after a six-year absence.

Three years ago on a raining day, Ban-suk goes out to find her husband, Wang-bae who is having an affair. That day, her son is killed in a hit-and-run and Dong-wu finds out his girlfriend, Mi-su has left him and their son. Three years later, Ban-suk gets out of a rest home and plans to seek revenge when her husband asks for a divorce. She decides to move to the same apartment complex where he and Hong-hwa are living together. Next door, Dong-wu, a part-time trainer at the gym Ban-suk is working at, is living there. Ban-suk sees Hong-hwa flirting with Dong-wu at the gym and is disappointed that Dong-wu goes along with that. She begins to see him as a playboy that her father and her husband were and hates him. Since then, they have conflicts about everything. Meanwhile, Dong-wu’s ex-girlfriend and his son’s birth mother, Mi-su gets in an accident at a club and gets help from Ban-suk’s brother, Jong-hyeok. One day, Ban-suk meets Dong-wu’s son and begins to understand who Dong-wu really is. After they realize they both have grudges against Ban-suk’s husband, Wang-bae, they become closer friends. When Dong-wu’s son treats her like his mother, Ban-suk is reminded of her dead son. Dong-wu, who is helping Ban-suk overcome her difficult past, falls in love with her without realizing that he’s the one who caused her pain three years ago.
