Humankind threatens many pristine and favorite surf breaks and surfers need to take action. In partnership with the Surfrider Foundation, TGR’s OUT THERE takes viewers to a variety of breaks around the world, showcasing the cutting edge surfing of today. Through the eyes and experiences of surfers and locals, the film takes a thought-provoking look into the environmental destruction threatening key surf spots such as Trestles in Southern California, surf in Southern Chile threatened by pulp mills, Teahupoo and its growing popularity, mainland Mexico, North Shore Hawaii near the Turtle Bay development and beyond.

When Hawaiian free-surfer Shane Dorian defied the wishes of Brock Little, his trusted Jet Ski driver, threw his tow rope and bounced into a 5m high slab of pacific ocean about to unleash on the shallow coral ledge of Teahupoo in Tahiti, he had little idea he would be riding the first wave of a two day session that would be forever etched in the history of surfing. The 1st and 2nd of May 2005 were insanely SOLID, rock SOLID and Billabong now brings you an exclusive DVD of the same name and nature. Produced by Billabong Entertainment and directed by world renowned cinematographer Jack McCoy, SOLID features never before seen vision of Teahupoo at its bone crunching best. Filmmaker Jack McCoy delves into surfing's deepest roots through ancient lore

Follow Mick Fanning as he cruises Coolangatta, Jamie O'Brien living large on the North Shore, and Nathan Hedge at home in North Narrabeen. Share a day in their lives and then join them on The Search as they explore a remote island chain in the South Pacific. Along the way WINDOWS reveals some of the most stunning surfing visuals ever captured on celluloid, from Manoa Drollet towing in at Teahupo'o to Kieren Perrow charging a mysto reef in North West Australia. All the action is accompanied by original music composed for the project by Sydney percussionist and renowned Shark Island charger Terepai Richmond and long-time collaborator Sam Dixon. Additional tunes include emerging Australian rockers Jet (described as "No. 1 must-see band... one of the best things we've heard all year" by NME magazine) and Los Angeles alternative hip-hop trio Black Eyed Peas.
