Reviews
The One Percenter works on a functional level, as a martial arts, action thriller.
First off, as is so often the case with martial arts flicks, the action is over the top and unrealistic. It certainly looks the part but anyone trying this approach to combat on for real, would not last long.
For most people who have no martial arts background the One Percenter , is a frenetic, fun watch. The action just keeps on coming. That said, it does tend to get a little exhausting by the time the final credits roll. Or put another way, it could have done with a little depth more on the story front.
In summary, loads of fast paced action that can get a little tiring towards the end of the film. A more rounded back story would have helped in this regard.
