Malikappuram

Swami Ayyappan is a 1975 Indian bilingual film. Directed and produced by P Subramaniam, it was simultaneously shot in Malayalam and Tamil languages. The film met with critical acclaim and became a box office success. It won four Kerala State Film Awards.

A group of pilgrims travels from a border village in Kerala to Sabarimala to visit Lord Ayyappa's temple. Later, an atheist police constable joins them, after which unexpected events take place.
