In February 2017, Journey went to Japan for a special show at Tokyo’s Budokan that featured a complete performance of 1981’s Escape and 1983’s Frontiers at the request of legendary Japanese concert promoter Mr. Udo in honor of his 50th anniversary in the business. “There’s a few songs I don’t even recall playing, like [the Frontiers track] ‘Troubled Child,” Journey guitarist Neal Schon told Rolling Stone at the time. “Digging back into that stuff has been a lot of fun.”

Recorded on July 18, 1993 at Peer Blues Festival in Peer, Belgium whilst touring in support of the "Feel This" album. The band normally performed as a trio however for this show they add a keyboardist and two backing vocalists giving the songs greater depth and range taking the entire performance to a new level. The Jeff Healey Band were legendary live performers , this captures them at their very best.

This legendary performance by Van Morrison and The Caledonia Soul Orchestra was filmed at The Rainbow in London in July, 1973. Previously unissued, it stands as one of the greatest live shows by any band.

Mournful explorations of parental paranoia and Scandinavian solitude crumbled under the force of a newly emerging identity straining to devour societal interdictions and accepted gender frameworks with 2017's Plunge. Splintered facets of a stridently non-binary personality were explored with 2023's Radical Romantics along with a very human need for intimacy, its most vulnerable moments still as steely and unsettling as a shark circling its prey. Fukuyama supervised all aspects of the overall direction, video, and sound of the live performance. High-quality footage of the actual live performance was recorded using more than 40 cameras in all 360° angles, and for the first time in Nippon Budokan history, drone shooting was conducted with the audience in the arena. In addition, the best Dolby Atmos® sound technology was utilized to pursue the ideal sound expression with thorough attention to every detail. The film also incorporates a storyline that only a film can tell, and "Masaharu Fukuyama as a boy," played by actor Hinata Hiiragi, is the key to the work. Hiiragi played the boyhood of Hiromi Minami, The film also features beautiful scenic inserts shot in his hometown of Nagasaki and CG effects, and these elements combine to create a film that uses the live performance itself as its source material in pursuit of the ultimate "ideal image of live performance."
