A definitive live concert film documenting AC/DC’s massive Black Ice World Tour. A compilation of performances recorded between 1967 and 1970 -- including the Monterey Pop Festival and Woodstock -- this Janis Joplin tribute captures the blues singer at the height of her explosive powers as an artist and rock 'n' roll icon. Highlights include "Summertime" and "Ball and Chain" at the Monterey Pop Festival; "Work Me, Lord" at the Woodstock Festival; as well as performances of "Coming Home," "Piece of My Heart" and "Down on Me."

Rip-roaring rock ‘n roll. In 2005 The Black Crowes played a five night gig at The Fillmore in San Francisco. This appears to be a document of the one night they hooked up with the four-man Left Coast Horns (who apparently had only that afternoon to work out arrangements and rehearse with the band). Recorded on August 8, 2008 at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood Florida, Bad Company: Hard Rock Live captures the last remaining original band members, Rodgers, Kirke and Ralphs, in a one night only show. They run through a set list consisting of all the expected Bad Company hits, including the aforementioned numbers and other crowd pleasers such as “Seagull,” “Honey Child,” and “Live for the Music.”

Legendary rocker and bluesman Stevie Ray Vaughan performs with the band Double Trouble in two influential shows, in 1982 and again in 1985, at the Montreux Rock Festival. Concert footage is mixed with a documentary on Vaughan. Pink Floyd released their first single in 1967, and as their popularity around the world grew, they increasingly travelled outside the UK to perform live shows and make TV appearances. After The Dark Side of the Moon became a global smash, the band concentrated on the creative freedom of live performance, leaving the world of TV behind, but now, after painstaking research, tapes of those early historic appearances have been tracked down and compiled into a fascinating hour of early Pink Floyd. With front man Syd Barrett, they perform Astronomy Domine and Jugband Blues, and after Syd's departure, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason can be seen playing a full range of their eclectic material, from out and out pop in It Would Be So Nice, through instrumental improvisations, collaboration with choir and orchestra on Atom Heart Mother and enduring rock material like Wot's...Uh The Deal.

In 1985, Dire Straits embarked on a world tour of unprecedented proportions. Promoting their hit album Brothers in Arms, the tour included a thirteen-night residence at Wembley Arena (featuring Eric Clapton helping out) and a brief jaunt at Live Aid (featuring Sting), before winding up in Australia in the Spring of 86. They ended with a 21-night stand at Sydney's Entertainment Center, packing the place every night, and wrapping it all up with one final show on April 26th. Featuring the one-off calypso version of "So Far Away" and an impromtu version of the Australian folk anthem "Walktzing Matilda" (with the whole stadium providing the vocals), it is truly a show for the ages. This show represents a band at their very finest, a band that has perfected the art of transitioning from structured verse/chorus parts to solos and back, bringing the audience along on an emotional and gorgeous journey for each and every song.

On July 10th, 1985, under the inspiring eye and ear of master guitarist and frontman Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits gave a concert at the famous Wembley Stadium in London. This performance was a show full of hits including ‘So Far Away’, ‘Sultans of Swing’, ‘Why Worry’, ‘Money For Nothing’, ‘Private Investigations’ and of course the beautiful ‘Brothers In Arms’. The gig included two guest players; Nils Lofgren and Hank B. Marvin.

When legendary classic rockers Bad Company performed at the historic British venue Wembley Arena in London on a beautiful April 2010 spring night, high-definition cameras captured the whole evening in all its glory. There was magic in the air as all three original Bad Company members - vocalist extraordinaire Paul Rodgers, guitarist Mick Ralphs and drummer Simon Kirke - are augmented by bassist Lynn Sorensen and guitarist Howard Leese. (Original bassist Boz Burrell died in 2006.) The set list is packed with every major hit, fan favorites and seldom-heard deep album cuts.

Merchants of Cool, a live album selected from gigs in Denver and Anaheim in 2002, sees them at their strongest in years. With Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke from the original outfit and guitarist David "Bucket" Colwell, now a member of more than 10 years' standing, they're supremely tight, running through a succession of hits like "Can't Get Enough," "Feel Like Makin' Love," "Burnin' Sky," "Rock and Roll Fantasy," and Free's immortal "All Right Now." Mostly, the songs are well-honed and urgent, free from indulgent solos, but Rodgers--whose voice has always been Bad Company's main attraction--leaves too many choruses to the crowd.

Who Killed That Bird On Your Windowsill...The Movie is an often hilarious insight into the inner workings of the Black Crowes--one that sees the brothers Robinson doing just about everything you'd expect from them: sneering at everyone, fighting with one another, at odds with radio programmers, but most imporantly, creating some of the best American rock music of the early '90s.
