An enthusiastic androgynous voice leaves a message on 25-year-old Mina's answering machine inviting her to the best party of her life. Mina really doesn't want to go, so she tries to come up with the most outrageous excuse to get rid of the Voice once and for all. However, her mind has a surprise in store for her.

Naya, a rising pop singer, feels stifled by her producer, Thomas, who only cares about business. Zul, Naya's manager, plans to move to another label. Molly, her brother, Slats, and his pal, Oliver, are taxi dancers at the Miramar Ballroom. But the bookie has other plans for their dough and hires a group of ringers to step in for the opponents. All is not lost, at least while Oliver has the chance to turn things around for his friends-one way or another.
