During this day, out of seemingly simple interactions, the family dynamics reveals itself, and exposes the protagonist’s place- between child and adult, between intimacy and alienation. It is the story of an old man - Gulam - and the cherry tree which grew in his garden. As the story opens, the village children consider Gulam their best friend. But as the war wears on, Gulam directs his kindness and affection to his cherry tree, shielding the tree from the children who are starving. In the process, Gulam becomes very aggressive and eventually is seen as the enemy of the children. The movie shows how war can destory even the most tender and gentle feelings, as well as the most basic moral values of being human.

Holiday adventures of schoolboys spending their time on an airport taking flying lessons with sport planes.

Two burglars release dozens of cats into a neighbourhood and start the dogs barking. They use the din to their advantage and dig up a bag of loot. However, the situation snowballs and turns into the worst night the burglars ever spent.

This short animation film is based on a Tove Jansson picture book. It tells of the little knytt (“knytt” is a non-existing word signifying something tiny like a crumb) who is ever so lonely, but so shy that he is afraid to approach others.
