The movie takes place between Seasons 1 and 2. The Green Forest Village hosts a festival in celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the large tree growing in the middle of the village. While Curucuru and his friends are helping in the festival, they learned that tree's vitality is due to a legendary item call the Pingya, which gives it Eternal Love and Life. But in the midst of the festival, a bunch of Pirate Hyenas came to the village and stole the legendary item, causing the tree to wilt. Now it's up to Curucuru and his pals to get it back from the pirates, before things can go worse. But amid-st the actual troubles they face, the kids also encounter a strange Tiger child, who is connected to the incident.

However, they soon come to realize that the nonsense threat they received might have been more than just a joke.

Mio is a girl in high school who slacks off. She and her childhood friend Arata and best friend Madoka spend their after-school days in Ikebukuro hanging out. Director's cut release of the war/mecha anime series "FLAG" features famous scenes from the series edited together into a cohesive, realistic story about war. Camerawoman Shirasu Saeko's photo of residents of a war-torn Asian country struggling to raise the flag of the UN became the symbol for the movement of peace across the land. However, on the eve of a truce, the actual flag captured in the photo is stolen and war once again threatens to plague the land. To return the flag and establish peace in the land, the UN sends a lone mechanical army called the SDC (pronounced as Seedac—Special Development Command).
