Universal Century 0079. It’s a shorter, more streamlined version of Nadia called "The Nautilus Story", which all but eliminates the filler arc and concentrates on the struggle between Nemo and Gargoyle. Some scenes in the more pivotal episodes are cut as well. The compilation series was made by Hideaki Anno, who was said to have been dissatisfied with the final result of the TV show. The Nautilus Story was only released in Japan on VHS and laserdisc.

Kumi's playground is a garden by one of those skyscrapers with a man-made water fountain, artificial vegetation, and digital water and butterflies. Kumi meets an old man who visits the park every day to paint the artificial flowers. The old man tells Kumi of when he discovered a "breathing" tulip sprouting amidst the artificial flowers, and the two decide to watch over the tulip together as it grows. (From ANN)

At an old factory on the edge of the forest, the Bear Factory Manager invites the Sumikkos to make toys. They make use of what they are good at, and complete their stuffed toys. The Sumikkos are motivated by the praise of the Bear Factory Manager. They have matching uniforms, delicious food, rooms to stay for the job, .and spend their days making one toy after another. Then, the toys that were shipped to Sumikko's town start moving around. There is something "mysterious" about this factory.

While Roboco is having fun showing off her signature knee impersonations in a nearby vacant lot, Bondo notices something and turns around. Not only does he sense that something unusual is about to happen, he also sees Roboco as if she is enveloping him and the others...!?
