Tells the story of Matinta Perera, a witch who demands offerings to the citizens of a small city in the North of Brazil.
A team of young doctors on a humanitarian mission through the Amazon rainforest come to realize that not everyone – or everything – is happy to see them. Their arrival draws the attention of an ancient predator, the “Boiúna”. This ancient killer, dominant on land and water, emerges to reclaim the jungle. The ensuing fight for survival blurs the roles of hunter, prey, and hero.

After hearing about a Brazilian folklore party at the neighborhood school, Fernando, an 8-year-old child, decides to go dressed as Curupira, with a skirt and everything, and suggests it to his grandfather, Mr. Lino, 70 years old. The dynamics between grandfather and grandson begin to be affected as Lino perceives Fernando to be a different child. Through subtleties in the dialogues and the silence, social conventions and the responsibility of being the guardian-protector of something precious, the film evokes conceptions of the masculine within a queer childhood.

Shows the characteristics and tells the story of one of the most popular characters in Brazilian folklore: Saci. A man long ago cut paths on his farm in search of something lost, but his work is delayed with the visit of Saci. When this boy appears, the whole order is broken and no one escapes his bewilderment. The farmer then begins an adventure to try to capture him.
A girl crosses the forest to get milk and on the way she knows about Saci, who punishes those who do not respect the people of the forest.

The documentary "Caixa D'água: Qui-lombo is this?" It reports, through testimonies from former residents and photographic collections, the importance in the cultural and historical scope of the Getúlio Vargas neighborhood located in Aracaju, capital of Sergipe. Emphasis is placed on black culture and the presence of black slaves and their descendants, with the rescue of issues related to their origin, orality, geographical location and awareness of their racial identity, showing that, although this community exists in an urban area, it still maintains many aspects of the quilombo life of the former black slaves in Brazil.
