Hard rock and chicken farming have a common denominator spelled Hampus Klang – a middle-aged man who, with his dedicated commitment, makes it to the big rock stages as well as to the podium for the best-looking hen.

A documentary tale about the sound recorded in the spring of 1973 in Tomaž Pengov's apartment at 1 Prešernova, Ljubljana by the sound engineer Aco Razbornik. These recordings became "Odpotovanja", the mysterious and first independent LP album in the former Yugoslavia. The exciting story is revealed by exclusive videos, found photographs, objects, and of course the friends who took the 23-year-old Pengov on an exciting journey of planning, recording, designing and promoting the album, which immediately after its release became a cult and sought-after diamond of the pop culture underground scene of the time. But the story does not end with the album's release. The record is still turning.

The German punk band "Terrorgruppe" was found in 1993 and broke up in 2005. The band was essential for the developement of German punk. Songs like "Keine Airbags für die CSU" or "Mein Skateboard ist wichtiger als Deutschland" inspired a whole generation of punks and anarchists. This documentary portraits the band's history from 1993 to 2005.

Cammock convenes both contemporary and historical voices—from archivists, artists, writers, and musicians to the protagonists of the civil rights movement—and adds her own through poetry, ceramics, and the sound of her trumpet.

As they play carefree music, their musicianship is met with surprise, wonder, and sometimes even laughter. Captivating all who watch, Otoasobi Project’s rich variety of expression reshapes the concept of improvised music. Formed in 2005 in Kobe, Japan, Otoasobi Project has some 50 members, including people with intellectual disabilities, musicians, and music therapists, who pursue music and well-being through improvised performances. After many years of numerous workshops, concerts, and other activities, they even held their first tour in the UK in September 2013. The movie “Whereabouts of Sound” depicts the appeal of the improvised music Otoasobi creates, and the beauty of its natural, honest expression.
