It does seem unlikely that the ambulances of Naples would be sitting idle in the middle of the night, but for three paramedics this isn't the busiest of mornings until they get a call out to a shooting. It turns out that not only is the victim someone altogether too close to home for one of their number, but that the shooters don't appear to be finished. Moreover, the blue lights upon the ambulance seem to prove more of a target than a deterrent as they try to get the injured man to the relative safety of hospital. Apparently based on a real incident, this does show just how perilous this job can be for people dedicated to saving lives - albeit usually those unknown to them, and it also showcases the bravery and determination of those people who persevere despite the lack of respect shown to them by those armed and dangerous as they navigate the streets at night carrying out vital repair work as they go. The darkness and the mounted POV-style of photography help to give this a certain degree of urgency and it has a distinctly truthful ring to it.
