SANCTIFY

A semi-documentary experimental 1930 German silent film created by amateurs with a small budget. With authentic scenes of the metropolis city of Berlin, it's the first film from the later famous screenwriters/directors Billy Wilder and Fred Zinnemann.

Taxi driver Wang Dong and his wife divorced and took their son Wang Guchuan (Chuan Chuan) with them, and Shen Fang, who also divorced and took their son Liu Yang (Yang Yang), formed a new family. The older Chuanchuan is in adolescence and has a rebellious character, and firmly opposes his father's decision.
