Joshin, a nun at Taiseizan Mankoji Temple, a nunnery in a peaceful rural town, is undergoing a regular checkup from the local doctor, Kimura Kamekichi. After the checkup, Kamekichi makes a bold request. His wife has been hospitalized in a large hospital for over a year, and they have not had a sexual relationship for a long time. So he asks Joshin if he can comfort her just once. Knowing Kamekichi's earnest and clumsy personality, Joshin grants his request on the condition that he does not tell anyone.

Futaba, the proprietress of an inn in a hot spring town near Chichibu, hears from her husband, the manager, Isamu, that a travel guide writer is coming to the inn secretly to do an interview, and ends up over-entertaining the man who seems to be the man. Isamu is jealous, and Kuniko, a waitress who has a crush on him, approaches him. One day, a guest comes in who turns out to be Kuniko's former colleague. Futaba resolutely confronts Kuniko, who is laughing at her for telling a lie. Futaba and Isamu then swear to continue protecting the inn.

The only enjoyment of Shiko Kamisaki Shigori who works as an office worker in a real estate company was to introduce a doujin magazine at a literary circle event. Fujiyama, the president of the company of Chogo was a former language teacher to support the novel, but the business was hard and had the return of the debt left by the second original wife Takako (Rino Yuuno).
