Drawn from elements of West African folk tales, it depicts how a newborn boy, Kirikou, saves his village from the evil witch Karaba.

Television adaptation of the comedy by Eugène Labiche and Edouard Martin, written in 1860. On the Buttes Chaumont plateau, transformed into the Gare de Lyon, Monsieur Perrichon, who has all the makings of an honest bourgeois, sets off on a pleasure trip with his wife and his pretty daughter Henriette. Left heartbroken by the death of his beloved wife, a rich banker tries to commit suicide. When he learns from his former maid that his wife was unfaithful, he fakes his own death and comes back under a new identity.

An unemployed investor creates a fictious business partner to attempt to improve business. Eventually, his creation gets out of control as his business becomes successful and his wife announces that she is in love with the partner and his son wishes the partner was his father -- although no one has ever seen him. To regain control, the man decides to "kill" his imaginary partner and is arrested for the murder.

Combining traditional and computer animation (one of the first to use it!), Peter Foldes, through clever metamorphosing images and powerful line drawings, provides a moralistic tale of one man’s enormous appetite and selfish consumerism. Growing more corpulent and repulsive, his indigestion leads to a nightmare where he is consumed in a hell of emaciated bodies. By extension, this film indicts affluent nations and individuals in a world where many starve.

Francois Pirette - Un jour je serai optimiste

During a dinner for two, a young couple in a romantic crisis has their evening interrupted by a story the waiter tells them.

A small-town policeman is informed that "naked women" are dancing in a revue at a local variety theater. Being the guardian of public morals that he is, he decides to stroll on down there and check it out for himself.

After a tumultuous life, a middle-aged headwaiter in a Parisian restaurant dreams of opening a seaside amusement park. When an old flame reappears, he reignites his feelings, but she is involved with another man.

A young journalist comes from Nice to Paris to meet with the famous judge, Simon, hoping he will help her understand a case. She does not know that, according to the will of fate, in the office of judge was fugitive criminal. The couple hit the road.

Goubi, the simpleton of his village in the French Department Allier, has but one wish: to see Paris.
