Fabienne Thibeault

Biography

Fabienne Thibeault (born 16 June 1952 in Montreal, Quebec) is a French Canadian singer. She is particularly known for her role in Starmania. Thibeault has released numerous albums over her career. She has been the recipient of two Félix Awards. She began her singing career at 19, placing third at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby in 1972. In 1974 she won the same competition. She then went on to touring and singing with other better known Quebec artists, including Plume Latraverse and Sylvain Lelièvre. She released her first album De laine et de bois (Of Wool and Wood) in 1976. By 1978, she had caught the attention of producer Luc Plamondon. He asked Thibeault to join the cast of Starmania, which he had written with Michel Berger, in the role of Marie-Jeanne. Thibeault toured with the show in Quebec and Europe, then on her own. Thibeault has been recognised with two Félix Awards. The first in 1979 as Female Performer of the Year, and the second in 1981 for pop LP of the year. Success in Europe, along with marriage to French saxophone player Jean-Pierre Debarbat, led her to spend increasing amounts of time in France, where she now lives. In July 2011, Thibeault and her husband announced they were getting divorced. They promised, however, to continue their work together promoting rural life in the diverse regions of France where they live, and the preservation of agricultural traditions, through the various associations they have created. Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. David Clatworthy

Biography

David Geoffrey Clatworthy (11 July 1960 – 8 September 2020) was a South African actor and director. Clatworthy was born on 11 July 1960 in South Africa. He completed education from Pretoria Boys High School. From 1978 to 1979, he became the regimental instructor for the School of Artillery. In 1980, he enrolled to the University of Cape Town to study a bilingual Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama. He graduated with the degree in 1983. He was married to fellow actress Wilmien Rossouw. The couple had two children. He was later in a relationship with Michelle Botha, where they have a son. He diagnosed with an esophagus cancer for some time. He died on 8 September 2020 at the age of 60. He made notable performances in many theatre plays such as; The King and I, Life Is a Pitch, Macbeth, Revamp, The Boys Next Door, and Beyond Therapy. He played the role "Jamie" in Long Day’s Journey Into Night, where he won the Fleur Du Cap Award for Best Supporting Actor. Apart from that, he was also nominated for a Fleur Du Cap Award and the Dalro award in 1989. In 1990, he made film debut with Return to Justice and played the role "Hayes". In 2008, he acted in the SABC2 television sitcom On the Couch with the role "Arno". In 2012, he starred as "Commander Schoeman" in the Mzansi Magic crime drama serial Mshika-shika. In 2013, he made a guest role in the SABC3 sitcom Safe. In 2016, he joined with the kykNET Afrikaans soap opera Getroud met Rugby and played the role "Gerald Richter". In the meantime, he also became a director of the show. In 2018, he played the role "Clive Wright" in SABC2 sitcom Konsternasie Oppie Stasie. Other than that, he acted in the international science fiction film District 9 and joined with the first season of Netflix film The Crown. Apart from cinema, theatre and television, he rendered his voice in over 100 radio dramas. Some his other notable film appearances came through, Mia et le lion blanc, Harry Game, Young Ones, The Making of the Mahatma, Everyman's Taxi, Lunar Cop, Verraaiers, Platteland, and Winnie Mandela. Brad Johnson

An American actor and former Marlboro Man. Johnson's first acting credit was in the low-budget biker film The Nam Angels (1989), and shortly after he had his first co-starring role in a major film when he played the role of Ted Baker in the 1989 film Always, directed by Steven Spielberg. His other movie credits include Flight of the Intruder, Philadelphia Experiment II, Copperhead and Supergator. He also played the role of Rayford Steele in the Left Behind film series, and played Dr. Dominick O'Malley on Melrose Place. In 2001, he played a hired killer who tangled with Tom Selleck's Rafe Covington character in Turner Network Television's Crossfire Trail. Véronique Rivière (born Véronique Tartakovsky in Suresnes, February 5, 1959) is a French singer-songwriter. Rivière's father is the Russian-French television producer Alexandre Tarta, and her mother is a journalist. She began her career by playing minor acting roles on television, and in 1982, as a cabaret singer at Café de la Gare in Paris. To date, Rivière has released six studio albums and several singles. From 1991 to 2001, she appeared as a backing vocalist on four albums of Swiss singer Stephan Eicher. Rivière is currently performing the role of Francesca Lavie, which was previously played by Diane Tell, in the musical Je m'voyais déjà.
