Having run out of weed, Norville visits his close friend and drug dealer Gary, only to find himself ravelled in an absurd conspiracy that only he can get to the bottom of.

The Heretic is a short film created by Unity’s Demo team. With ”The Heretic”, the team used every aspect of Unity’s High Definition Rendering Pipeline, created advanced effects with the VFX Graph, and undertook the challenge of creating a realistic digital human.

A frustrated writer struggles to find the motivation behind a story that involves two brothers and their differences. While letting the story unfold, events escalate as he writes the final revision and the story takes him to places he did not expect.
