Scripted by four of Australia’s greatest authors (David Williamson, Thomas Keneally, Hal Porter and Craig McGregor), this quartet of carnal desires explores adultery and jealous fantasies, the end of innocence, the moral and spiritual conflicts of a priest and a nun in love. The stories define the exploration of women and the cultural upheaval of the early 70s.

T'Day

A young girl leaves her Nigerian village to attend a ballet school in England. Fascinated by Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, she dreams of performing as lead ballerina Princess Odette, but the girls in her close-minded ballet school mock her ideas of a 'black swan'.

While visiting her sister in Paris, a young woman finds romance and learns her brother-in-law is a philanderer.

She must face the hatred of one of his student, Lordis Defam. Through the chief, she understand that she is a Muslim who is considered an enemy by Lordis Defam who is a catholic

In the living room, RAMA (33), is painting the bottom of the wall which is full of TARA (6) crayon scribbles which resemble the shape of a ship with simple lines. JINGGA (30) is ironing her school uniform and feeding Tara who is busy drawing a boat in a drawing book. Rama looked tired, he suggested that JIngga stop painting so that Tara wouldn't get involved in scribbling. Hearing that, Jingga promised to take care of Tara so she wouldn't do it again.
