Marilù Tolo

Biography

Marilù Tolo (born Maria Lucia Tolo; 16 January 1944) is an Italian film actress. She appeared in more than 60 films between 1960 and 1985. Born in Rome, Tolo, at a very young age, worked as an assistant of Mario Riva in the RAI variety show Il Musichiere. She made her film debut at 16 years old in Alberto Lattuada's Sweet Deceptions. She was also a fashion model, and a close friend of Italian stylist Valentino. Valentino said in an interview to Italian newspaper La Repubblica that Tolo was the only woman he had ever really loved. Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Annie Challan

Biography

Annie Challan (born 5 November 1940) is a French harpist. Born in Toulouse, Annie Challan is composer René Challan's daughter. She started playing the piano at the age of 2 and then the harp at the age of 9 in the class of Lily Laskine with whom she obtained at 15 the prize of the Conservatoire de Paris. At 16, she was named solo harp in the Concerts Colonne, and at 18, she entered the Opéra de Paris, where she was the youngest in the orchestra. She created the first harp duo with Suzanne Cotelle, with whom she recorded for the label Pathé Marconi. Together with Roger Bourdin she formed the internationally renowned "Flute and Harp Duo". She has composed numerous works for solo harp, duet, trio, harp ensemble, duet with flute, cello or clarinet. In February 2015, she founded the "Éditions Annie Challan", specializing in the publication of classical music scores of her own compositions. Matt Vogel

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Matthew J Vogel II (born October 6, 1970) has been a Muppet performer for the Jim Henson Company since the 1990s. On Sesame Street, Vogel served as the assistant puppeteer for Ernie, performing either one or both hands while Steve Whitmire performed the head and vocal. Eventually, Vogel's ability to mimic the sound and performance of Caroll Spinney's Big Bird was put to use. As of 2006, Vogel's primary performances as Big Bird are the "Journey to Ernie" segments. He's also taken over Jerry Nelson's characters, by the recommendation of Nelson himself. Vogel is, as of 2008, the voice of Floyd Pepper, Lew Zealand, Crazy Harry, Robin the Frog, & Camilla the Chicken. He has also taken over the puppetry of Jerry's most famous character, Count von Count, but Jerry is still providing the voice. Vogel performed the muppets that were used in Kenneth the Page's view of the world in the 30 Rock episode, "Apollo, Apollo." Raymond Trouard

Biography

Raymond Trouard (9 August 1916 – 17 December 2008) was a French classical pianist. Born in Étampes, Trouard had André Bloch, Joseph Morpain, Victor Staub, Emil von Sauer, Marcel Dupré, Paul Dukas, Philippe Gaubert and Bruno Walter as teachers at the Conservatoire de Paris. His classmates included Maurice Baquet, Henri Betti, Paul Bonneau, Léo Chauliac, Henri Dutilleux, Louiguy and Pierre Spiers. He won his First Prize in piano in 1933 and a Second Prize in directing in 1937. He perfected his musical studies with Yves Nat, Sergueï Rachmaninov, Manuel Infante, and Maurice Ravel. Trouard gave his first piano recital in 1935. He won the 1st Louis Diémer Grand Prix in 1939. This was the beginning of a great international career that would take him all over the world: in France of course, but all over Europe. He also played in South and North Americas. He played in recital and with orchestra under the direction of the greatest conductors: Philippe Gaubert, Pierre Monteux, Eugène Bigot, André Cluytens, Pierre Dervaux, Richard Beck, Carl Schuricht. His repertoire was vast, from Bach to Dutilleux. He excelled in Liszt whose technique and spirit he possessed through his relationship with Emil von Sauer. Trouard was one of the great interpreters of Frédéric Chopin. On the disc, he gave a reference version of the 14 waltzes. He made numerous recordings for Odeon, then CBS, and EMI. These recordings have been remastered, and have been re-released (May 2008) in an 11-CD box set by the Sony firm, a box set entitled "Raymond Trouard: Une vie pour le piano". In 1953, he took part in the short film Trois hommes et un piano by André Berthomieu, in which he played three pieces of classical music as well as C'est si bon with Henri Betti and Léo Chauliac. Trouard had many students such as Michel Dalberto, Jean-Gabriel Ferlan, Eric Ferrer and Marc-Henri Lamande, at the Conservatoire de Paris where he was a teacher from 1969 until 1985. Anders Öfvergård

Sven Anders Öfvergård, also known as Arga snickaren, born 3 January 1968 in Danderyd parish, Stockholm County, is a Swedish broadcaster, construction engineer, contractor and television personality. He runs the construction company Öfvergård Konsult AB. Previously, he ran four pubs for over a decade and worked for Lowe Brindfors. Between the years 2009 and 2016, Öfvergård recorded TV shows for Kanal 5 in Sweden with program titles such as Arga snickaren, Arga restaurangen and Nybyggarna. In autumn 2016, he was recruited to TV4[1] where he hosted a series of programmes such as Fuskbyggarna, Anders knocks on the door and Robinson, but also appeared as a contestant in Let's Dance 2017 with Cecilia Ehrling Danermark.[2] He also appeared in the Channel 5 series Den stora hälsoresan. In September 2021, TV4 announced that it was terminating its collaboration with Öfvergård, after he behaved inappropriately at a staff party[3]. Öfvergård is married with four children and lives in Värmdö.

THE PERFECTION required Molly to learn to play the Cello, a considerable challenge in 3 weeks, which left her in awe of the professional players. After her time on THE PERFECTION, Molly remarked that "it was amazing to work with such well-respected artists. There was so much happening, and it was so much fun. At the end of filming I had a super proud moment of, 'Oh my gosh, I just did that!'". More recently, she worked on TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE 2 & 3 (with Lana Condor & Noah Centineo) and enjoyed the collaboration and camaraderie of the large and diverse cast of young actors. Molly is incredibly dedicated to her craft and continues to train and hone her skills. She can't imagine life without acting.

Danai Jekesai Gurira (born February 14, 1978) is a Zimbabwean-American actress and playwright. She is best known for her starring roles as Michonne on the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead (2012–2020, 2022) and as Okoye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films, beginning with Black Panther (2018) and most recently appearing in its sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). Gurira is also the playwright of the Broadway play Eclipsed, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play.
