God Skin

Win, takes a lethal gamble to fund his mother's medical treatment when Itt, an old friend, lures him into the Arena. In this brutal underground circuit, fighters are marked with "God Skin" tattoos to gain a ruthless edge.

The promotional material for *God Skin* described it as steampunk Muay Thai, which it unfortunately is not. It’s more of a Muay Thai version of Leigh Whannell’s *Upgrade*, which is still potentially cool. Conceptually, *God Skin* is off-the-charts awesome. But its execution leaves so much to be desired. The film’s flaws can almost be completely forgiven when it comes to *God Skin*’s finale, as the twist is unbelievably ballsy and unexpected. https://bit.ly/GodSkin
