With the new show Optur, it's time to laugh and have a good time again, where Simon Talbot in his usual style transforms themes from his own life, such as hair loss, social media, cats, gaming, nose hair, Danish laws, the contrast of growing up with a Jehovah's Witness mother and Irish street boy father, married life, women's overly hot baths, and much much more, into jokes we can all laugh at. Over the past year, Simon has had stress reactions, spent too much time on social media, watched (way) too much Tiger King and acquired a sugar addiction, which he turns into a brand new Danish-language comedy show.

There are more than two hours of classic stand-up when ANDEN BRINGER OUT is just Anders, a stool and a microphone.

It's jokes, it's pure stand-up, and as usual, it's a bit too much. But is it okay to be a little slutty when you're a mother? If not, how do you control it? And does she mean it when she says she's not bitter about being a single mother?

Talegaver Til Børn celebrated its 15th anniversary in December 2007 with three sold-out shows at Forum. The FBI's annual charity show was produced in collaboration with Unicef. In a festive fireworks display of French temptations, historical and piquant scenes are performed, and as always with the awareness that it's all about keeping your finger on the pulse.

Don't miss Taarnhøj's third oneman show, the most impersonal show to date! But it has everything else: pious jokes, imaginative speeches and a good amount of storytelling!

Anden takes the stand-up comedy genre to a level never before seen in Denmark. There are backdrops, there is scenography, there is multimedia, but at its core, it is still just stand-up comedy at its very best!

Fordi ingen plukker kameler!

Between Christmas and New Year's Eve 2022, it will be 30 years since Danish comedians first took to the stage to raise money for children in vulnerable situations.

Now that all the boring and practical stuff is out of the way, I'll tell you a bit about the show. Well, I'm not going to tell you what the show is about. You'll have to go and see it. But I can tell you a bit about how it was recorded, because it's a bit different from what you're used to. Since my shows are often very different from night to night and since I've sat in an editing room with a recording and thought; “F*ck, sh*t, that joke was much better the last time I did it”, this time I made the decision to record the show in Horsens, Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen and cut the 4 shows together into one. Whether it was a good decision, I'll leave it up to you to judge, I'm certainly very satisfied. So all I can say is, enjoy... that is, if you pick it up.

It was to be the BIGGEST comedy show ever on Danish soil when Anders Matthesen celebrated his 25th anniversary with the show “Anden 25”. More than 89,000 festive audiences saw the show, and “Anden 25” became the best reviewed Anders Matthesen show ever.
