Things have been slow for too long now. Really slow. We need some speed - and Denmark gets it in Jakob Thrane's new comedy show.

The latest stand-up from Denmark's biggest comedian. "Anden paa coke?" toured the country in 2006 and was seen live by over 100,000 people. Anden takes the stand-up comedy genre to a level never before seen in Denmark. There are backdrops, there is scenography, there is multimedia, but at its core, it is still just stand-up comedy at its very best!

Anders "Anden" Matthesen's critically acclaimed stand-up show from 2000-2001. About a show that shares its name with Børneradio's popular satire CD (which was made by the same man) ...but which is nevertheless something completely different! About a one-man show with four men on stage? About two hours of varied comedy, ranging from classic stand-up to music, sketches, and a host of guests.

In the spring of 2002, six of Denmark's best stand-up comedians joined forces under the name Den Ægte Vare. The goal was to show the audience six different styles in the original form of stand-up - completely stripped of “borrowed” jokes and clap-friendly song numbers. Through 24 shows, Varen delivered the goods in sold-out theaters across the country. The tour ended with 3 nights in the circus building, and this recording is the first of these shows.

Thomas Hartmann is behind the scripts for Far From Las Vegas, he has provided material for Jan Gintberg and Mette Lisby and TV programs such as “Ugen der gak, F.C. Lisby, Årets der gak” and others.

“Sometimes I am enthusiastic – other times I am resigned. Sometimes practical and logical – other times reckless. Sometimes I am full of confidence – other times just drunk.” Look forward to another philosophical, eye-opening, and highly entertaining show from Carsten Bang, who this time comes face to face with several faces of himself.

Sindssyg Kælling is Sanne Søndergaard's new solo show. A personal, vulnerable and brutally honest show about being labeled by the whole world just because you speak your mind. Sanne Søndergaard is one of Denmark's sharpest social critics, known from columns in Information, books like Kære Dødsbog and her standup shows. Now she's ready with one of her most blunt shows to date, where she takes on the media, the audience and even her own social circle, skewering the many judgmental voices she has encountered over the years as a critical and outspoken satirist.

Now that all the boring and practical stuff is out of the way, I'll tell you a bit about the show. Well, I'm not going to tell you what the show is about. You'll have to go and see it. But I can tell you a bit about how it was recorded, because it's a bit different from what you're used to. Since my shows are often very different from night to night and since I've sat in an editing room with a recording and thought; “F*ck, sh*t, that joke was much better the last time I did it”, this time I made the decision to record the show in Horsens, Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen and cut the 4 shows together into one. Whether it was a good decision, I'll leave it up to you to judge, I'm certainly very satisfied. So all I can say is, enjoy... that is, if you pick it up.

Niels Hausgaard: Os der glor

Jacob Taarnhøj is a true verbal acrobat, and his unique storytelling style makes him a real treat to watch on stage. He's a comedian who's definitely worth keeping an eye on after his breakthrough in 2017 when he won the coveted "Talent Award" at the Zulu Comedy Gala. That same year, he also took second place in the Danish Stand-Up Championship. Get ready to experience one of the great comedians of the future!
