Crowds at the entrance to the London Hippodrome await the departure of Sir George White. A series of races and exhibitions is taking place at the hippodrome track in Coney Island's Dreamland. First there is a simple race between two riders, followed by several other competitions involving larger numbers of horses. Finally, there is a race between two chariots driven by teams of horses. After the races are over, a parade takes place on the track.
