As the song says: "I'm 26 years old but only 4 useful. I don't understand anything". 8 people read aloud private texts (sms, letters, emails) written or received by Daphné Hérétakis in the months leading up to her 26th birthday. The film proposes to take these texts out of the realm of intimacy and put them back into the public space and the collective nature of the film. The result is a romantic and absurd cadavre exquis, which addresses slightly depressed sensibilities.

Short documentary focused on the figure of Scaloni, the young coach of the Argentine national soccer team.

Inspired by «The Conference of the Birds» by Farid al-Din 'Attar, an 18th century Persian poem, the film tells of a flock of birds that travel following a hoopoe, towards the Mountain of Kafh, home of King Simourgh, from whom they expect to receive the answers to all their questions. Between dream and reality, the birds will cross the 7 valleys.

A powerful and emotional new episode of ESPN E60 will look back 50 years to one of the darkest moments in sports history – the Munich Massacre, when Palestinian terrorists murdered 11 Israeli sportsmen at the 1972 Summer Olympics. E60 will tell the story of one Israeli athlete, now 86, who survived, just as he had survived World War II and the Holocaust when he was a child.

The Battle of Midway: A pivotal battle in the Pacific, Midway was also the first filmed in color, from the dawn alarm and the action at sea to the tragic down of the remaining Japanese fleet. Time: 20 minutes. Global War: In an objective, unsentimental manner, this film documents the Army's wartime efforts in 1943, from Patton's army marching up through Sicily to the collapse of Mussolini and events in the Pacific theater. Time: 30 minutes.

Time: 21 minutes. The Battling Bastards of Bataan: On Bataan and Corregidor, Americans suffered crushing defeat at the hands of the Japanese in 1942. This film uses actual battle footage to take an unflinching look at the down side of our military might. Time: 30 minutes.

In 2001, the government of Quebec announced a new program to issue permits for the construction of private hydroelectric dams at specific sites. Upset, the population took things into their own hands and decided to act. Citizens formed collectives to protect their waterways, among the most beautiful in the province. This documentary follows several artist and citizen groups who led a crusade to force the Québec government to abandon private hydro-electrical production. It is a thorough inquiry on the environmental impact and other repercussions of such projects.

Set in New Brunswick, "Éloge du chiac" takes the form of an open discussion between a young French-language teacher and her students in Moncton. Through their exchanges, Michel Brault examines the challenges of preserving French in a bilingual region where English predominates, and explores the contested status of Chiac, a local French dialect shaped by centuries of linguistic contact.

From the lower St. Lawrence, a picture of whale hunting that looks more like a round-up, with a corral, whale-boys and all. In 1534, when he stopped at the island he named l'Île-aux-Coudres, Jacques Cartier saw how the Indians captured the little white beluga whales by setting a fence of saplings into off-shore mud.
