Dreaming Big

A young woman becomes close with a mechanic who feels responsible for the death of her brother.

Arthur has a girlfriend, they train together in a boxing club, they are 18 years old and go to the same high school. One evening, Ewa confides in him about an affair she once had with an older man. This news has a strong influence on Arthur. During the next training session, he unloads his aggression on her, which starts a game of mutual provocation between them.

An absurd comedy about a modest toy salesman who displays an advertising banner for his company. Unexpectedly, the banner becomes the subject of a worldview conflict that Jan has to resolve in order to keep his business.

At a secret military centre somewhere on the Polish seacoast, scientists and the military are conducting research on a technology to transform repeat offenders with life sentences into animals. A young employee of the centre tries to free one of the female prisoners marked for the conversion.

They both simultaneously start recording their surroundings on camera and crafting the resulting footage. They, Elettra from Italy and Hazem from Gaza, become the subjects of this film that documents their first moments together. It depicts a multi-faceted reality in which North and South confront each other in a discussion on rights and inequalities, a reality in which we witness a migration towards one another, while capturing an intimate way of making a film together.

In the final year of high school, a group of students embarks on creating a short film for a competition. Despite facing numerous obstacles and challenges that test their teamwork and unity, the group learns valuable lessons in persistence and collaboration. As tensions rise and doubts creep in, one member reminds them that struggles are part of the journey. Together, they push forward, determined to finish what they started. This film, made as a keepsake for their graduation, captures not only the struggles they faced but the triumph of overcoming them.
