Winter is coming. With business failing, a restaurant owner feels too ashamed to go home for the New Year. To save food, he plans to abandon a stray dog he had been feeding. But after a car accident, he changed his mind and cared for the dog instead. When the dog was later hit and killed by a car, he demands compensation from the driver. The next day, he packs his bags and go home.

It is a story of four young individuals of different genders, social classes, and beliefs navigate the challenges of contemporary society and seek self-redemption. After the disenchantment of all things, meaninglessness has become a widespread issue in postmodern society, and an increasing number of young people are suffering from “emptiness syndrome”.
