Monsieur Hulot, Jacques Tati’s endearing clown, takes a holiday at a seaside resort, where his presence provokes one catastrophe after another. Many people have to deal with the crisis, including the less successful and hard businessman Brutus Brein. Brutus sees the figures of his company fall further and further into the red. When Brutus notices that Sinterklaas is not interested in his products, he and his mother devise Dr. Brein and her accomplices Joris and Boris plan to rob Sinterklaas. The two children Milan and Eva have intercepted the plans of the mean Brutus and do everything they can to inform Sinterklaas. Milan and Eva enter a race against time to save the upcoming Sinterklaas party.
