WEC 37: Torres vs. Tapia was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting on December 3, 2008 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event aired live on the Versus Network. WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres successfully defended his title again against Manny Tapia in the main event of the evening. In addition, former IFL standout Wagnney Fabiano made his WEC debut on this card. The Mark Munoz-Ricardo Barros fight was the final light heavyweight bout to be put on by the WEC. The division was absorbed into the UFC following this event. The event drew an estimated 671,000 viewers on Versus.

UFC 179: Aldo vs. Mendes 2 was a mixed martial arts event held on October 25, 2014, at Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event was headlined by a Featherweight Championship rematch between the current champion José Aldo, and top contender Chad Mendes. Their first fight at UFC 142, also contested in Rio de Janeiro, ended in a first round knockout victory in favor of Aldo.

UFC 218: Holloway vs. Aldo 2 is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on December 2, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

UFC on ESPN 69: Usman vs. Buckley was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on June 14, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. A welterweight bout between former UFC Welterweight Champion (also The Ultimate Fighter: American Top Team vs. Blackzilians welterweight winner) Kamaru Usman and Joaquin Buckley headlined the event.

WEC 45: Cerrone vs. Ratcliff was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting that took place on December 19, 2009 at The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada. It marked the first time the WEC has held back-to-back events at the The Pearl at The Palms.

A UFC Lightweight Championship bout between current champion Islam Makhachev and former interim champion Dustin Poirier headlined the event.

UFC Fight Night 51: Bigfoot vs. Arlovski was a mixed martial arts event held on September 13, 2014 at Ginásio Nilson Nelson in Brasília, Brazil. The event was headlined by a heavyweight rematch between Antônio Silva and Andrei Arlovski. Their first fight at Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery ended in a unanimous decision victory for Silva.
