A geography teacher who is assigned from a rural district to Baku moves into a rented apartment with the help of a close friend. After a murder that takes place in the house, spirits begin to communicate with the teacher. Some of the footage was later recycled in ‘Lost horizon’ (1937) by Frank Capra and in ‘Storm over Tibet’ (1952).
