Tennis player turned coach Tashi has taken her husband, Art, and transformed him into a world-famous Major champion. Recorded a month and a half before his death, we see Bing in great form performing many songs he was associated with. He is accompanied by the Joe Bushkin Quartet and his son Harry Crosby.

Spring Story

The film takes place in Uzbekistan during the Great Patriotic War. Pulat and Bahor love each other, but the happiness of the heroes is prevented by a rich friend of the parents of a girl who sees her as her future wife.

Based on the play The Gypsy Azza by Mykhailo Starytsky. The gypsy Vasyl falls in love with the Ukrainian beauty Halia. He forgets his nomadic life, his mother, and the gypsy Azza, and decides to stay in the village for Halia’s sake. Halia, against her father’s wishes, marries Vasyl. But time will pass, and Vasyl will begin to long for the camp.

In 1940, shortly before the outbreak of war, a young boy Marjan lives a carefree life with his gang in Ljubljana, experiencing all the problems of his age. With Lenka he's experiencing his first "pure" love, while discovering sexuality... The Italian occupation brings many changes, gang breaks up, some join the liberation movement, the others join collaborationist forces. Marjan remain "unlisted". Italians surrender, and hand over the city to Germans. Frivolous Milena, who has good connections with them, seduces Marjan whom she lost her innocence with. The war is over and the partisans win. The new authorities mistakenly imprison Marjan.
