Laura and Mari are meeting with a medium in the candlelit living room of their new house. The woman asks them about the reason for their call and the girls put her in context. They then begin to explain to her the paranormal events they have experienced since moving into the house: they hear a hissing sound through electrical appliances, a sound they believe to be coming from a hostile and threatening spirit, as they have already suffered attacks from the entity. The woman listens to them attentively before conducting a séance to contact the spirits and find out what is happening in that place.

His laces become caught on the tracks and he has an accident so serious that he will never play football again. A film for showing to eight to eleven-year old children and their parents, which points out the folly of breaking railway fences and trespassing on the line, and illustrates the immediate dangers. A young couple finds themselves in difficult financial straits. The man is out of work and spends his days walking the streets, without so much as a cent in his pocket to buy food. He’s so weak that he collapses in front of a store window. The store’s owner, an elderly man, comes to the man’s aid and offers him a job. His new job requires him to spend all day sitting and keeping watch on the small room at the end of a corridor.

After the death of her husband, a woman acquires a machine that will bring him back to life. But the machine operates on blood and her husband's resurrections are lasting for shorter and shorter periods of time.
