Seer 5: Rise of Thunder

In a realm beyond the senses, plants interact with surreal cinematography to chart the course of our character: an entity said to embody the life and work of Felisberto Hernández, Uruguayan father of magical realism. Through this journey, we are confronted with an open-ended experience questioning the nature of musicality versus cinematography, entity versus aberration, and self versus space, in a self-referential, blurry, digital and mystical setting.

The capital of Estonia is occupied by Germans. Three local boys plan to blow up the cinema where the German soldiers often spend time at. However, their plans will change when they accidentally meet a mysterious stranger. A complicated and dangerous game begins where the rules are not set by the schoolkids.

During the summer of 1944, while Romanians turn weapons against Nazis, Mihai, an orphan teenager whose parents died in a bombing, tries to enlist in order to fight in the front line but he discovers that former police commissioner Potra tortured and beaten prisoners, including his father, who was political detained. Mihai will fight to bring Potra in front of the justice.

The lives of two women intersect.

With the arrival of the school inspectors, and everything hanging on the school concert at a nearby night spot, the pace is ratcheted up. “Angels vs Bullies” races towards a tense and moving double climax - to save Lucy and the school.

In a deep forest, the statue of Venus stands alone. The winter snows end and the ice melts into the river. As the spring arrives, David and Eros, are installed besides her. It is both generational and self-styled. Some groups are esoteric while others are pantheistic.
