LIVE ～LEGEND I、D、Z APOCALYPSE～ is the first video album by Japanese heavy metal band Babymetal. In this documentary film a team of researchers examine the social contexts that influenced the emergence and permanence of heavy metal music in Chile, Argentina, Mexico and Peru. Colonialism, dictatorships, terrorism and neoliberal exploitation serve as points of reference for how heavy metal in the region has been directly linked to each country's social and political context.

British heavy metal legends Saxon will unleash Let Me Feel Your Power, their 10th live album, on September 23rd via UDR Music (out on October 7th for US & CA). The 16 track album was recorded in Munich during November 2015 and Brighton in January 2016, with bonus materials from Chicago in September 2015, Let Me Feel Your Power will be available in several formats, including DVD/2CDs, Blu‐Ray/2CDs, digital download and a deluxe vinyl version which will also include the blu‐ray, DCD and CD (limited to 1500 copies). "BABYMETAL - Live Legend D" was a monumental concert event that took place on February 1, 2012, at Akasaka BLITZ in Tokyo. The show, dedicated to Su-metal's 15th birthday, was part of the "Live Legend" series and marked a significant milestone in BABYMETAL's early career. Featuring an intense setlist that included early hits like "Doki Doki ☆ Morning" and "Ijime, Dame, Zettai," the performance was characterized by Su-metal's commanding vocals, the synchronized choreography of Moametal and Yuimetal, and the thunderous backing of the Kami Band. The concert's theatrical elements, such as elaborate costumes and dramatic staging, enhanced the mythical atmosphere of the event. "Live Legend D" remains a key moment in BABYMETAL's history, showcasing their rapid rise and the beginnings of their global impact.

Held at the Makuhari Messe in Japan, this live performance is part of the "Legend" series, known for its grand production and intense energy. Su-metal, Moametal, and Yuimetal delivered a captivating set filled with fan-favorite tracks like "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" and "Akatsuki," accompanied by dramatic stage effects and intricate choreography. The concert is notable for its narrative elements, blending the band's signature Kawaii Metal with a mythic storyline that enhances the overall experience. "Live Legend Z" stands out as a key moment in BABYMETAL's rise, cementing their reputation for delivering unforgettable live performances.

The Lone Rangers have heavy-metal dreams and a single demo tape they can't get anyone to play. The solution: Hijack an FM rock radio station and hold the deejays hostage until they agree to broadcast the band's tape.

In April 2023, SU-METAL (vocal, dance), MOAMETAL (scream, dance), and MOMOMETAL (scream, dance) entered a new stage as the new BABYMETAL, and since then, they have embarked on their largest-ever world tour, "BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023-2024," visiting 25 countries including Japan. The 98 performances, excluding festivals and guest act appearances, recorded a total audience of over 280,000 people.

The film discusses the traits and originators of some of metal's many subgenres, including the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, power metal, Nu metal, glam metal, thrash metal, black metal, and death metal. Dunn uses a family-tree-type flowchart to document some of the most popular metal subgenres. The film also explores various aspects of heavy metal culture.

At 14, best friends Robb Reiner and Lips made a pact to rock together forever. Their band, Anvil, hailed as the "demi-gods of Canadian metal" influenced a musical generation that includes Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax. Following a calamitous European tour, Lips and Robb, now in their fifties, set off to record their 13th album in one last attempt to fulfill their boyhood dreams.
