In 1998 at Sct. Jørgens Skole in Næstved, the then 14-year-old Heino Hansen wrote a Danish essay that had his class in stitches. The otherwise shy and anonymous Heino became the funniest kid in the class from then on, and Heino Hansen was born! Talegaver Til Børn celebrated its 15th anniversary in December 2007 with three sold-out shows at Forum. The FBI's annual charity show was produced in collaboration with Unicef. For 15 years, between Christmas and New Year's Eve, people have been able to laugh for a good cause in the company of the country's best stand-up comedians, and the 2007 shows definitely lived up to the success of previous years.

The latest stand-up from Denmark's biggest comedian. "Anden paa coke?" toured the country in 2006 and was seen live by over 100,000 people. Anden takes the stand-up comedy genre to a level never before seen in Denmark. Shut up, there are a lot of things tumbling around in the head of someone from Northern Jutland, who grew up in a small town where the nineties were a thing a few years after they had kind of let go of the rest of Denmark. 38 full and half educations and careers attempted to get started have drawn Anne Bakland from Østervrå across the country and to Copenhagen, where she landed with her feet firmly planted on the stand-up stage with a microphone in hand and a bag full of both questions and answers about all the bullshit of life.

Dear friends, this is my 9 year anniversary DVD. It contains material that I have written and performed with since I started as a comedian in 1993 - both new 9 year anniversary. I have chosen not to have any "bonus material" with, for the simple reason that virtually EVERYTHING that I have made that have not previously been published, found on this DVD.

The show is about finding yourself by looking inside yourself. More specifically, it is about recognizing that you are a bad feminist and finding peace with that. About not letting your opinions be dictated by others and about how some people cannot claim ownership of a word or a definition. It is about there being room to be bad at something and that it is perfectly okay. She will be accompanied by a surprise warm-up act, which (without giving too much away) proves that the stand-up industry is not made up of white, oppressive men, but is actually full of supportive and good colleagues who can recognize talent when they see it and are always willing to back it up and, well, well, warm up for one of the new stars in the Danish stand-up firmament.

It's jokes, it's pure stand-up, and as usual, it's a bit too much. But is it okay to be a little slutty when you're a mother? If not, how do you control it? And does she mean it when she says she's not bitter about being a single mother?
