Free Solo: The Musical

“Patalliro! The Stage” is based on the popular manga series “Patalliro!” by Mineo Maya, which has been running since 1978. “Patalliro!” follows the adventures and mischiefs of Patalliro du Malyner VIII (knowns as Patalliro), who is the king of Malynera. His silly gag “Cock Robin Ondo” is well known from the ending song of the anime adaptation. Patalliro is played by Kato Ryo, one of the most influential and eccentric actors of his generation. The full cast except for Ryo was replaced for the latest show, providing a fresh take on the wacky world of “Patalliro!”. The story is based on “Misty London Airport”, one of the most iconic episodes of the original manga.

From an ominous Lecturer, a small 1930s middle American community learns of the Harper Affair, in which young Jimmy Harper finds his life of promise turn into a life of debauchery and murder thanks to the new drug menace marijuana. Along the way, he receives help from his girlfriend Mary and Jesus Himself, but always finds himself in the arms of the Reefer Man and the rest of the denizens of the Reefer Den.

In order to fulfill the "rehabilitation" imposed upon him and save people from the wicked desires of the world, the protagonist becomes a Phantom Thief of Hearts, but how will he change the hearts of corrupt adults? While this story overflows with mystery and thrills, there's also exhilarating action and a sensitive depiction of the psychology of a group of young men and women as they forge deep bonds of friendship and grow together as people. This is the first installment, performed in December 2019.

Patalliro du Malyner VIII is the crown prince of Malynera, a kingdom that produces diamonds. Despite being ugly and mischievous, he is loyal and fair. Many enemies of the throne, including Malynera's Prime Minister, plan to get rid of him and take control of the rich nation. Patalliro, however, has the protection of Jack Barbarosa Bancoran, his haughty and extremely handsome bodyguard, who will protect him even from the latter's own lover, the beautiful bishonen hitman Maraich Juschenfe and other assassins.

Les Enfoirés "À côté de toi" is the 31st album/show by Les Enfoirés, recorded from January 14 to 17, 20211 at Lyon's Halle Tony-Garnier. The show was recorded without an audience due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
