Manic Magic: a Poem in Four Parts

This retrospective exhibition gives brilliant insight into the artist’s work of the last 4 decades. Credit for this highly sensitive selection of Morris’ work goes to Rosalind Krauss, who curated the exhibition. We invited artist and curator to come back to the Guggenheim Museum for a second look at the exhibition. The filmed walk-through gives a vivid sense of the artist’s progress and documents the views of the artist and Rosalind Krauss, one of the most significant critics of our time.

Ryan falls for a beautiful Korean girl named Esther who happens to be the sister of "Kicker", the leader of the mafia-run Gamblers crew. Their love is put to the test as the rivalry between the two crews escalate. As reality sets in, the crew from LA is no match against the world champion Gamblers crew in the Mach 1 competition. Ryan, Kevin and the crew go into hiding where they meet an underground b-boy legend...

Armin Only is a Dutch all-night dance event featuring solo performance by Armin van Buuren. The event consists of various genres of electronic dance music (but most predominantly Trance Music), light, laser and firework shows and supporting acts of singers/vocalists like Racoon (2005 edition), Ilse de Lange (2006 edition) and Audrey Gallagher performing 'Big Sky' by John O'Callaghan.

Here’s a success story of the kind only America seems to have: becoming a global pop star overnight—or almost. And yet, Chappell Roan didn’t appear out of nowhere. Her first steps in music go back to 2014, with a track posted on YouTube. The Missouri native went through more than a few ups and downs before reaching the top of the charts: heartbreaks, being dropped by her first label, a string of odd jobs just to get by… She kept searching until she finally found her path with her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, released in 2023, followed by the single Good Luck, Babe!, a massive hit. Her flamboyant pop and aesthetic openly inspired by drag artists have earned her widespread acclaim, as has her uncompromising spirit.

The Kabul National Museum, once known as the "face of Afghanistan," was destroyed in 1993. We filmed the most important cultural treasures of the still-intact museum in 1988: ancient Greco-Roman art and antiquitied of Hellenistic civilization, as well as Buddhist sculpture that was said to have mythology--the art of Gandhara, Bamiyan, and Shotorak among them. After the fall of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan in 1992, some seventy percent of the contents of the museum was destroyed, stolen, or smuggled overseas to Japan and other countries. The movement to return these items is also touched upon. The footage in this video represents that only film documentation of the Kabul Museum ever made.
