Thelonious Monk entered a long phase of introspection and cancelled his concert schedule after 1968. He disbanded his quartet with Charlie Rouse, stopped recording for a while, and only performed sporadically. This complete 1969 performance at the famous Salle Pleyel in Paris is one of his last concerts ever with Charlie Rouse. It took place on the weekend of Friday 10th July, Saturday 11th July and Sunday 12th July at Balado, in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Blur and The Killers headlined, meaning that the 2009 was the first time the festival had seen four headliners.
Destination Docklands was an event consisting of two concerts by musician Jean Michel Jarre on the Royal Victoria Docks, Docklands, London on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October 1988, to coincide with the release of Jarre's new album Revolutions.
