“Artificial Intelligence,” the bachelor's thesis film by Andreas Back and Tim Seibert, begins with Till using an AI chatbot to write a term paper for him. When he succeeds, he uses the AI to save his first date with his crush Nadine at the last minute. The two become a couple, but Till increasingly uses the chatbot to maintain the appearance of being the perfect boyfriend in front of Nadine. This makes him so dependent on technology that he is hardly able to make decisions on his own anymore.
