It is the year 1998 in Buenos Aires. Chino just turned 21 years old. He is an introverted young man who lives in a small apartment maintained by his parents. He left his Architecture career a few months ago and since then he has spent his time watching films of any kind in different cinema clubs. He lives with Franco, a young man a few years older than him who works on a supposed science fiction film with which he plans to win a contest. He spends his days filming inside the apartment with his camcorder while acting out scenes from the supposed script in a somewhat ridiculous way.

Malena, a young photographer, finds a box of family memories while helping clean her parents' house. Among the objects, she discovers some old VHS tapes that belonged to her grandfather, whom she never met. Through these recordings, Malena delves into her grandfather's passions for tango, embarking on an intimate journey that also leads her to self-discovery.

Once in Barcelona, he opens the tango bar but Laura's partner tells him he sold the bracelet and now needs to recover it to avoid both Laura and him going to jail.

A reporter and tango singer is sent to the war zone in 1916, where he loses his memory.
