Genres collide, narratives twist, aesthetics clash, and even humor, both campy and dystopian, showcase the vast creative possibilities of each story's individual world, offering the viewer a brief glimpse into the lives of every character's attempt to survive the otherworldly chaos around them. Released in 2001, the selected shorts span original creation dates of 1997 to 2001; most of the featured filmmakers also appear as themselves in short video interviews to talk about their inspirations, creative process and motivations while working on their individual shorts.

Children of the past reach through the folds of time

In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a comedic gang of travelers have a plan to gain access to a domed safe-haven, but are assaulted by neighboring gangs.

Laura is a victim of blackmail by her boyfriend, who has threatened to release their intimate photos. Desperate, she decides to take her own life but is saved by a boy who is on vacation with his friends. The boy offers emotional support to Laura and helps her through the difficult time, but nothing is as it seems, and Laura will have to come to terms with this shocking truth.
