Five performers, known as Duelers, start their night as they always do: lots of shots and lots of music. Their nightly routine quickly crumbles into a life crisis once news circulates that the club's owner has cashed in and sold the club.

Lenka Dusilová is an extraordinary figure in the Czech music scene: an original composer, multi-instrumentalist, and unmistakable voice with over two decades of a distinguished solo career. Emerging as a wild rocker in early ’90s bands (Sluníčko, Lucie, Pusa), she gained widespread acclaim with her debut solo album “Lenka Dusilová” (2000), earning the first of many Singer of the Year awards. Brave and unpaved, she then charted her own path as an interpreter of her own songs, releasing solo albums such as “Spatřit světlo světa” (2002) and “Mezi světy” (2005). Over the years, Dusilová delved ever deeper into a unique personal expression, blending influences from diverse styles and life experiences on albums like “Eternal Seekers” (2008), “Baromantika” (2011), and “V hodině smrti” (2014).

Many older people have nostalgia for the hits of their youth. Knowing this, we decided to create a musical film where popular melodies of 30-40 years were played, such as "Splash of Champagne", "Carioca", "Tiko-tiko", "Joseph", "No need to be sad", etc. The film is structured as a conversation between a pop singer (Vera Beradze) and a collector of old records (Boris Shcherbakov). After the selected record is put on the gramophone and a familiar melody sounds, the old collector suddenly appears in the frame with the singer and transforms into a brave Mexican, then a playboy, or a guy from the outskirts of Moscow, depending on the song being played.

Fans crowded the stage with hands full of flowers while cowboy hats waved in the air to salute country music's living legend. George Jones, Country Music's Hall of Fame and Pioneer Award winner, is captured "Live in Tennessee" at a sellout performance in the Knoxville Civic Coluseum. Trouble brewing on many fronts - singer's best friend doesn't like the sailor, and singer has another suitor anyway. Rich guy takes her to all the fancy Cuban sports events - jai-alai, horse racing. Much more glamorous than spending time with Sailor. Can he win her over before he gets in trouble for letting his ship sail without him?

Like The Men Who Make the Music, We're All Devo! has a storyline to tie the videos together. In it, the character of Rod Rooter (Michael W Schwartz) is reviewing Devo's music videos for Big Entertainment. Much to his chagrin, his daughter Donut Rooter (Laraine Newman) is a fan of the band. Donut discovers the videos after asking her father for money to get an abortion (though this is not explicitly stated). Two excerpts from the storyline were included in the "Complete Truth About De-Evolution" laserdisc and DVD (both out of sequence) but the rest is exclusive to this videocassette.
