The Swedish Liberal party leader David Holst is in crisis. Just recently, he was Sweden’s hottest politician. Stylish, funny, popular and the obvious candidate as the country’s next Prime Minister. Now, two years and a disappointing election defeat later, he finds himself in free fall. The voters have deserted him, the party is in uproar and he can hardly manage to get out of bed. It gets no better when he falls head over heels in love with party general secretary Martin, the last person on earth he can fall in love with. A man. A Social Democrat.

In this short film, it follows gay lovers Brando and Wilson. Throughout the film, there is visible tension as Brando shows affection for Wilson in private, but in public he flirts with several different girls. They get into a heated argument, ending with Wilson leaving the bar to go back to their hotel room. Later, Brando comes back, taking the truck keys and leaving while Wilson is asleep, leaving him to wonder what happened when he woke up.

This story follows two boys, Wilson and Brando. They live in small-town Texas, where they spend time roaming fields and driving in their truck together. While this is happening, though, Brando is flirting with a girl at his job, showing that he is possibly scared of being gay. Wilson is clearly in love with Brando, but they both have a hard time getting their feelings across. These interactions eventually lead to a kiss on a rooftop, where Wilson ends up pulling away. After Brando gets out of work, they get into his truck and share a kiss, evidently tense as marked by the thunder occurring right after.
