In the 15th century Richard Duke of Gloucester, aided by his club-footed executioner Mord, eliminates those ahead of him in succession to the throne, then occupied by his brother King Edward IV of England. As each murder is accomplished he takes particular delight in removing small figurines, each resembling one of the successors, from a throne-room dollhouse, until he alone remains. After the death of Edward he becomes Richard III, King of England, and need only defeat the exiled Henry Tudor to retain power.

Backlash France is the upcoming 19th Backlash professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by the American company WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the LDLC Arena in the Lyon commune of Décines-Charpieu, France, marking WWE's first PPV and livestreaming event held in France. The concept of the event will be based around the backlash from WrestleMania XL.

From light tubes and ladders to barbed wire boards and no ropes, the competitors pushed their limits in pursuit of victory. CZW Tournament of Death VII, held in Smyrna, Delaware on May 17, 2008, was a groundbreaking event in professional wrestling. Featuring a mix of hardcore and deathmatch styles, it showcased intense battles with light tubes, barbed wire, and other unconventional weaponry. Notably, it marked the first time a female competitor participated in the Tournament of Death, adding an exciting dimension to the brutal competition
