Aurora, a finicky woman, is in search of true love while her daughter faces marital issues. Together, they help each other deal with problems and find reasons to live a joyful life.

In 1962 Hong Kong, neighbors Su Li-zhen (Mrs. Chan) and Chow Mo-wan (Mr. Chow) discover their spouses are having an affair. As they spend time together, they develop feelings for each other, but their relationship remains chaste and unspoken, reflecting societal constraints and their own moral compass.

Set in Baroque France, a scheming widow and her lover make a bet regarding the corruption of a recently married woman. The lover, Valmont, bets that he can seduce her, even though she is an honorable woman. If he wins, he can have his lover to do as he will. However, in the process of seducing the married woman, Valmont falls in love.

Guided by fragments of films, paintings, photographs, and other visual images, a sensorial and poetic narrative is constructed around the protagonists of Alan Stephens Foster's painting "The Fall." Like a moving moodboard, the work connects different artistic and cultural expressions to portray gestures of affection, desire, care, and presence between diverse bodies. All of this through the hands.

This short documentary explores the intimate and unconventional life of my grandmother and her relationship with magic and with the love of her life. With nearly 40 years between them and a union that never reached the altar, the story unfolds in a time when social norms and life expectations collided with their own desires and decisions. The documentary follows my grandmother’s life from her early youth to her maturity, through the responsibilities of motherhood, her craft, and love in its most unexpected forms. Through interviews, family memories, personal belongings, and the narration of key moments in their life together, this portrait seeks to explore the nuances of love and the complexities of building a family outside traditional structures.

A former prostitute kidnaps a baby boy at birth to satisfy her drug-dealing husband, who has told her that he is going to divorce her and put her out on the streets if she cannot produce him a son. Obviously the real mother becomes emotionally wrought and determined to get her baby back. Barbara Mandrell gets thrown into all of this mess as the mother's mother, who just happens to be beset with heart problems.
